Booking & Payment
A 50% down payment is required to confirm bookings made more than one month before the charter date. The remaining balance is due one month before the charter.
For bookings made within one month of the charter date, full payment is required upon confirmation.
Cancellations
Payments are nonrefundable for client-initiated cancellations, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Rescheduling
Clients may request to move their charter to another available date. Rescheduling is subject to vessel availability and approval by Celeste Seas.
Any nonrecoverable expenses already incurred for food, permits, transfers or special arrangements may be charged separately or carried over where possible.
Weather & Safety
If the Philippine Coast Guard prohibits sailing, or the captain determines that conditions are unsafe and the entire charter cannot proceed, the client may either:
Reschedule to another available date; or receive a refund, less any actual nonrecoverable expenses already incurred.
If the charter can safely proceed but the route, destination, departure time or itinerary must be changed because of weather, sea conditions or safety concerns, no refund will automatically be due.
Operational or Vessel Issues
If an operational issue within the control of Celeste Seas affects the charter, Celeste Seas must first be given a reasonable opportunity, where practicable, to remedy the situation. This may include resolving the issue, adjusting the departure or itinerary, providing a suitable alternative vessel, or rescheduling.
If a material issue cannot reasonably be remedied and the charter cannot proceed, the client may reschedule or receive an appropriate refund for the charter or material portion that cannot be provided.
Captain’s Authority
The captain may change the itinerary, delay departure, return to port or cancel the charter whenever reasonably necessary for the safety of guests, crew and vessel.
Travel Arrangements
Celeste Seas is not responsible for separately booked flights, hotels or other travel arrangements affected by delays, cancellations or itinerary changes.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Acceptance
Payment toward a confirmed charter constitutes acceptance of these terms, subject to applicable Philippine law.
